HME Benchmark is a web application that delivers accurate Heavy Mobile Equipment (HME) data to mining professionals. It allows users to select a machine and define its operating circumstances, generating a contextual estimate that details periodic maintenance costs, manpower requirements and machine availability for the term of the estimate. Annual and monthly estimates can be created, and they are based on underlying data collected from over 1,000 machines that have logged over 25 million operating hours on four continents.
The simple user interface applies parameter-driven algorithms to a sophisticated quantitative model that contains generic maintenance plans for common mining equipment. Variables include material, location, workforce experience, climate and road conditions, and estimates can be created for any age machine. The database includes all common classes of Haul Trucks, Shovels, Dozers, Graders and Wheel Loaders found in large open pit mines.
The application is contextual and dynamic; changes made to an estimate are instantly updated. Users can download results for use in other applications, and the database is current - it's updated every 90 days with inflation-adjusted data and new machine models.
HME Benchmark is the most accurate and affordable mining equipment cost estimator on the market. It helps mining engineers, consultants, maintenance planners, reliability engineers, mine controllers, production managers and mine planners assess, compare and predict costs and resources necessary to operate a fleet of mining equipment anywhere in the world.
